La Cala de Finestrat is a beach in the town of Villajoyosa, next to Benidorm's Playa de Poniente. The beach is very popular among people that don't like the busy Benidorm beaches. La Cala de Finestrat beach is about 300 meters long with fine, golden sand and very clear calm water. That is why every year since 1988 a blue flag is placed on the beach, it is a token of the European community that has been awarded for its original high-quality European quality.

Just like the beaches of Benidorm La Cala de Finestrat has an exceptional microclimate thanks to the fact that the beach is protected by the mountains from the wind from the south. The beach is also situated in such a way that visitors on the beach face the sun all day long without having to change places.
