Benidorm has a warm Mediterranean microclimate because it is protected by the mountains surrounding the city. Summer comes quite early, usually already in May. From that moment on, the temperature barely falls below 25 degrees Celsius. This continues until the end of September. During the hottest months of July and August, the temperature during the day is on average between 28 and 33 degrees Celsius.

Locally it can get a little warmer, especially in places where the wind has no influence on the many concrete of the streets and buildings that retain the heat. If you visit Benidorm in the summer months, it is almost necessary to cool off during the day in the swimming pool or on one of the beautiful sandy beaches. It is also good to watch out for sunburn.

Due to its location, Benidorm can also profit from pleasant sunny weather for the rest of the year. Even with temperatures above 24 degrees on days in the middle of winter. It is a pity that it is not always warm enough for beach activities.
