Isla de Benidorm, also called the Peacock Island, is a small island opposite the city of Benidorm. The island is approximately 3.5 km from the city. You can reach this island by boats that depart both from the Playa Levante new town side and from the port of Benidorm at the Playa Poniente. A two-way ticket will cost you about 15 Euros.

Isla de Benidorm is a nature reserve, so if you like a challenge you can walk all the way to the top of the island. Be sure to put on some good walking shoes, the paths are steep and full of loose rocks. Watch out for the seagulls, they are used to visitors and sometimes come very close.

The island has a very quiet atmosphere, completely different than the sometimes very busy Benidorm mainland. If you like nature you will like it a lot. At the top, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the whole of Benidorm.

At the island's only cafeteria, you can take a glass-bottom boat to go around the island or you can even take the so-called dive boat, behind thick glass you can see the fish and the many divers.
